Kevin Hogan flunks first test as starter

In an attempt to awaken the offense, Browns coach Hue Jackson made a quarterback switch from DeShone Kizer to Kevin Hogan. It failed.

Hogan went 20 of 37 for 140 yards, a touchdown and three interceptions in a blowout 33-17 loss at Houston. Making matters worse, Texans quarterback DeShaun Watson continues to look like a budding star after the Browns passed on him twice in April’s draft.

The reviews on Hogan haven’t been positive. Jackson suggested the team could go back to Kizer.

I don't know what makes me more sad - the fact that most of twitter thought Kevin Hogan gave us a better chance, or that Hue did too.

Hue Jackson spit in my face yesterday throwing the ball as much as he did with Kevin Hogan. They watch him throw in practice everyday. Smh

Kevin Hogan is bad. Duke Johnson should be starting and Gregg Williams needs to figure out how to be better in pass coverage. #Browns

Everyone who posted something positive about Kevin Hogan should get flagged by twitter with some sort of scarlet letter to show their shame
