Ridge, SCC, Greeneview clinch league titles


Karrah Batten had 13 kills and three blocks as the Cougars (20-1) beat Stebbins in straight sets to win the Central Buckeye Conference in girls high school volleyball Tuesday.

Lexi White had 10 kills and three blocks while Sierra Kirk had 36 assists.

SCC 3, WLS 0: Catholic Central won its third Ohio Heritage Conference title in a row.

Ally Duncan had 21 kills, five blocks, 11 digs. Stephanie Lohnes had five kills, five blocks and 10 digs. Lauren Hoendorf had 26 assists, six kills and 11 digs.

GIRLS SOCCER

Greeneview 7, Triad 0: Alexandra Rice scored as Greeneview won the Ohio Heritage Conference title.

Northeastern 3, Mechanicsburg 0: Angie Distl had five saves for Northeastern and earned her eighth shutout for Northeastern. Ashley Howard had two goals while Christina Norris had an assist.
