Greeneview girls basketball remain undefeated in OHC


Greeneview won the battle of Ohio Heritage Conference unbeatens on Thursday night, topping Southeastern 53-27. Sophie Sonneman had a double-double with 13 points and 19 rebounds for the Rams (12-2, 8-0 OHC). Kristen Combs added 18 for Greeneview. Lexi Perry led Southeastern (10-3, 5-1 OHC) with 12.

Triad 48, Northeastern 44: Triad’s Nicole Simonelli and Jenna Welty scored 21 of the team’s 23 points in the first half. Simonelli finished with 16 points and Welty had 19. Northeastern was led by Maddie Massie who had 14 points.

West Liberty-Salem 47, Mechanicsburg 45: Jamie Peterson had 14 points and 13 rebounds and helped the Tigers rally in the fourth quarter. Jamie Dodane scored 23 for Mechanicsburg.

Urbana 49, Ben Logan 45: Braxton Rogan led the way for the Hillclimbers with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Taylor Russell led Urbana in scoring with 15 points.
