Area Girls Basketball Highlights from Feb. 20th


Girls basketball

Greeneview 78, C.H.C.A. 38: The Rams (23-1) had little trouble in this D-III sectional. Sophie Sonneman led the way with 25 points. Greeneview will play Fayetteville on Saturday at Wilmington.

Triad 58, Jackson Center 40: The Cardinals, led by Faith Orecchio’s 20 points, won easily in this D-IV sectional. Triad will play Fort Loramie on Saturday at Sidney.

Middletown Christian 39, Cedarville 29: Ellie Sizer had six points and 13 rebounds for Cedarville (5-16) in a D-IV sectional loss.
