About the Blue Jays: Stant takes over as just the fifth head coach in the 43 years of the program, which has won small-school five state titles. He succeeds Dan “Beeze” Grothouse, who compiled a 393-252 combined record in 28 seasons. A St. John’s grad and the St. John’s Elementary School principal, Stant previously coached Blue Jays freshmen and JV boys teams.

We are a young, hard-working team with good chemistry that shoots fairly well from the perimeter. We are undersized but work very hard to apply strong ball pressure.
