Unfortunately all good things must come to an end, and regardless of the outcome of a game, win, lose or draw, these are incredible people first and players second, and no game can make me feel any differently. #OnceaFlyeralwaysaFlyer”

Kendall Pollard wrote: “As I walked off the court last night & was able to say one last goodbye to the Flyer Faithful, I've never been more proud to say I'm a Dayton Flyer. To have played in that arena every night in front of 13,000 of the best fans in the country. To be loved in the city of Dayton. The best part of it all is my teammates and I are a big reason for that. We always played as hard as we could night in & night out. Obviously we wanted it to end differently, but every loss brings a win. So thankful for every part of my journey here and I'm looking forward to what's next! Again, thanks to The University of Dayton for all of the blessings it's given me, my coaches, all my teammates that have played with me over the past four years, all the fans, all the alumni and everybody that has helped me come in as a kid and leave as a man!”
