Among the many new faces on the Dayton Flyers bench this season will be a walk-on freshman from Brookville.

UD added Dalton Stewart to the roster on Wednesday. He's a 6-foot-2 guard who averaged 14.9 points as a senior at Brookville.

Dayton held walk-on tryouts on Sept. 26 at the Cronin Center. Stewart joins a walk-on group that includes fifth-year senior guard Joey Gruden, a Sycamore High School grad, and junior guard Jack Westerfield, of Cincinnati St. Xavier.

The Flyers graduated one walk-on from last year's team. Jeremiah Bonsu is now a graduate assistant at Bowling Green.
