About Wittenberg: The Tigers have won two in a row over Oberlin and Kenyon. They’re alone in second place in the NCAC behind Ohio Wesleyan and Wooster (both 5-0). … With 21 points and 12 rebounds in Wednesday’s victory over Kenyon, Scott Masin has compiled four double-doubles in a row. Those were his season highs in both categories. … Sophomore forward Logan Markko made his second appearance of the season against Kenyon, playing four minutes.

About Denison: The Big Red have lost five games in a row and eight of their last nine. Their NCAC wins are against Kenyon and Hiram, and they’ve lost to Wabash, Oberlin and Ohio Wesleyan. … The Tigers beat Denison 67-58 in the regular season last season but lost 66-58 at home in the NCAC tournament semifinals. Denison broke a 13-game losing streak to Wittenberg with that victory. Two starters are back from last year’s Denison team: Hale and Longi. … Hale leads the NCAC in scoring. … Former Wittenberg guard Chris Sullivan is in his second year as an assistant coach to Bob Ghiloni.

Women’s game: The Tigers play at Denison (7-7, 2-3 NCAC) at 1 p.m. Wittenberg (7-6, 3-1 NCAC) has won four games in a row. Enri Small leads the Tigers with 11.9 points per game.
