The last time it lost six straight games was the 1987-88 season under Jerry Peirson (this excludes the 18-game losing streak under Peirson in 1988-89 because eight of those losses were forfeits). … McKnight is shooting 83.9 percent from the foul line in 12 MAC games. That percentage ranks third.

About Bowling Green: Calhoun and Crawford scored 21 points apiece in the Falcons’ first meeting with Miami this season. … BGSU is coming off an 88-75 defeat at IPFW in the Ramada Worldwide BracketBuster series. … Bowling Green is 9-3 at home, 1-11 on the road and 1-2 on neutral floors this year. … Orr (39.7 percent), Calhoun (35.8) and Crawford (31.7) have combined to make 88 treys in 2012-13. … Richaun Holmes, a 6-8 sophomore forward, is shooting 62.9 percent from the field. … Crawford, from Cincinnati’s La Salle High School, is averaging 4.2 assists per game.

Coach John Cooper on Bowling Green: “Typically (Louis Orr’s) teams are always going to play inside-out, and they’ve got the inside-out combination (with Calhoun and Crawford). You look at the IPFW game, and I don’t know if they just didn’t show up for that game. We’ve certainly been there also where we didn’t show up for a game. They gave up an inordinate amount of points for his teams.”
