Henderson coach the North boys basketball team from 1960-89 and coached the North baseball team for 22 years. He was inducted into the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.

Wittenberg University graduate and former North High School coach Don Henderson, 86, will be honored by the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association on April 22 as the 2016 recipient of the Hall of Honor Award, Wittenberg announced Wednesday.
Henderson, a 1954 Wittenberg graduate and 1991 OHSBCA Hall of Fame inductee, will be honored for his work as director of the OHSBCA’s District 9 from 1976-87 and for organizing the district all-star game for almost 30 years.
