Coaches: Scott Nagy is 6-4 at Wright State and 416-244 in 22 seasons overall. Rob Summers is in his third year as Urbana coach and has an 11-54 record. He's a 7-foot former player and was a regular contributor at Penn State before transferring and starting for West Virginia.

About Wright State: The Raiders are on a three-game losing skid. They had a pair of three-game skids last season. In his final six years at South Dakota State, Nagy had two three-game losing streaks, but not in the same season, and he never lost more than four in a row. Each team that had a three-game slump went on to play in a postseason tournament. … The Raiders are shooting 38.4 percent on 3-pointers, the 70th-best mark in the nation, and have made 8.8 3's per game (71st). … Sub Mark Hughes had his best game of the season in a 77-64 loss at Loyola (Ill.) on Wednesday, notching seven points and five assists. … Wright State is having final exams this week, and Nagy lightened the practice schedule leading up to today's game and will give the players Wednesday off.

About Urbana: The Blue Knights, who went 2-26 last season, are in their seventh year as a Division-II team and have scheduled three D-I foes as exhibitions, playing at IUPUI on Monday night and at Ohio University on Dec. 30. … The school has an enrollment of 1,500, compared to 17,775 for Wright State. … DeQuan Abrom, a 6-2 freshman, averages 12.6 points and had a team-high 23 and eight rebounds off the bench in a 76-74 road win over Davis & Elkins on Saturday. He's reached double figures in five consecutive games. Dalton Payton, a 6-6 junior, had 17 points after missing the previous four games with an injury. … The Blue Knights are scoring 86.9 points per game but giving up 94.9. … They play in the Mountain East Conference and were picked to finish 11th out of 12 teams.

Coming up: Wright State plays its next four games on the road, facing Kent State at 4 p.m. Sunday, then Murray State (Dec. 22), Oakland (Dec. 29) and Detroit Mercy (Dec. 31).
