Bengals put two starters on Injured Reserve

The Cincinnati Bengals on Monday placed two starters — guard Clint Boling and tight end Tyler Eifert — on Injured Reserve. Both players will miss Sunday’s regular-season finale vs. Baltimore.

Eifert was inactive for Saturday’s 12-10 loss to Houston due to a back injury. He missed Saturday’s 12-10 loss to Houston.

Eifert missed the first six gaes of the season due to an ankle injury and a back strain. He caught 23 passes for 394 yards and five touchdowns in eight games.

Boling was inactive for the Houston game because of a shoulder injury. He suffered the injury Sept. 29 vs. Miami but played through the Dec. 18 game vs. Pittsburgh. Boling started the first 14 games of the season.
