Born and raised in Lorain, Ohio, Rowe, 48, moved to Springfield in April of 2000 to take the Sports Editor's job at the News-Sun after 15 years at his hometown newspaper, The Lorain Morning Journal. When Rowe is not running the sports department, his beats include volleyball, wrestling and boys tennis. He also writes a weekly column on Sundays highlighting accomplishments and stating opinions about issues that effect our community. He is also the pastor at Liberty Baptist Temple in Springfield.
