Bengals sign Pope from practice squad

CINCINNATI — Bengals left cornerback Johnathan Joseph's sprained ankle triggered a series of moves Tuesday, Sept. 16, as the club signed cornerback Geoffrey Pope off the practice squad and released guard Frank Davis from the 53-man active roster.
The club also released linebacker Dan Howell from the practice squad and added third-year linebacker Abdul Hodge and first-year offensive tackle Dennis Roland.
