On campus
• Denison University's Kristin Cobb (Oakwood) qualified for the NCAA Division III tennis singles and doubles championships May 16-18 in Saint Peter, Minn.
Cobb, a freshman who plays No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles, is ranked No. 7 in singles (15-3) and No. 2 in doubles (15-5). Denison won its seventh straight conference title and is one of 47 teams playing in the first round of the national team competition.
• A couple names familiar to Dayton-area track fans will compete in this weekend's Jesse Owens Track Classic in Columbus. The free event features high school, college and pro athletes.
