Men

When: Quarterfinals today, Feb. 26; semifinals, 6 and 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29; final, 7 p.m. Saturday, March 1.

Where: Quarterfinals hosted by top four seeds; semifinals and finals hosted by top remaining seed after quarterfinals.

Top seed: Wooster (22-3) is ranked No. 12 in NCAA Division III. Its only NCAC loss was to Wittenberg, which it later beat. The Scots have won 10 NCAC tournament titles, including last season when they beat Ohio Wesleyan 86-51.

Wittenberg outlook: The Tigers won the NCAC tournament at Wooster in 2005 and 2006. They have appeared in the championship game 12 times, winning six. The Tigers host Allegheny tonight, and if they advance, they would likely play Ohio Wesleyan in the semifinals and Wooster in the finals.

Women

When: Quarterfinals today, Feb. 26; semifinals, 6 and 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 29; final, 7 p.m. Saturday, March 1.

Where: Quarterfinals hosted by top four seeds; semifinals and finals hosted by top remaining seed after quarterfinals.

Top seed: Kenyon (19-6, 16-0 NCAC) started this season with a 3-6 record, but it got hot in conference play, winning 11 games by double digits. It has won two titles in the 23 previous NCAC tournaments.

Wittenberg outlook: The Tigers ended the regular season by beating Oberlin 68-52 Saturday, Feb. 23, and they play Oberlin again at 8 tonight at Pam Evans Smith Arena. Wittenberg, the No. 3 seed in the tournament, is 0-4 against the top two seeds, Kenyon and Ohio Wesleyan.

Men

Who: AMC North Division champion Malone (20-8) plays at South champ Walsh (24-4) in the AMC championship game at 7:30 p.m. today, Feb. 26. The winner earns an automatic bid to the NAIA Division II tournament. The loser goes to the AMC tournament as the No. 1 seed and gets a bye in the first round.

When: Quarterfinals Thursday, Feb. 28; semifinals, Saturday, March 1; final, Tuesday, March 4. All games at 7:30 p.m.

Where: Quarterfinals hosted by No. 3 seed Ohio Dominican and No. 4 seed Mount Vernon Nazarene; semifinals hosted by higher seeds; final hosted by top remaining seed.

Cedarville outlook: The Yellow Jackets (20-7) enter the tournament on a four-game winning streak. They are the No. 2 seed and get a bye in the first round. Shawnee graduate Ryan Short is Cedarville's top scorer (15.4 points per game).

Urbana outlook: The

Blue Knights (5-23) didn't qualify for the tournament.

Women

Who: The AMC's North Division and South Division champions Daemen and Shawnee State meet at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 1, in the AMC Championship game. Both teams earn automatic bids to the NAIA Division II tournament. The AMC tournament field consists of the teams that finished second through fifth in the divisions, and the winner also receives a bid to the NAIA tournament.

When: Tournament quarterfinals Wednesday, Feb. 27; semifinals, Saturday, March 1; final, Tuesday, March 4. All games at 7:30 p.m.

Where: Two quarterfinals hosted by No. 3 and No. 4 seeds as top two seeds get byes; semifinals hosted by top two seeds; final hosted by top remaining seed.

Cedarville outlook: The Yellow Jackets (14-13) play at Ohio Dominican, which beat them 64-53 and 68-52 in the regular season. Southeastern grad Alison Lemon leads Cedarville in scoring with 16 points per game.

Urbana outlook: The third-seeded Blue Knights (16-10) will travel to meet No. 2 seed Rio Grande (22-6), a team they lost to twice in the regular season.
