HARMONY TWP. — ARCA driver Todd Bowsher and his wife, Alfie, are expecting their first child in May.
Otherwise, it's been a tough winter for the Harmony Twp. resident.

"It's really the only positive thing that's happened in the last few months," Bowsher said.
Due to a lack of sponsorship, Bowsher was forced to miss Saturday's ARCA 200 at Daytona International Speedway. Bowsher finished 15th in the event in 2007.
"We've worked pretty hard to try and secure (sponsorship)," Bowsher said, "but it hasn't materialized yet.
"We just couldn't afford to spend the money it takes to compete at a speedway like Daytona."
In the final race of 2007, Bowsher finished sixth in the Hantz Group 200 at Toledo Speedway on Oct. 14, but has struggled to find sponsorship ever since.
The ARCA series also has grown by leaps and bounds over the past few seasons.
Seventy-four cars attempted to make the field for Saturday's race at Daytona. A car owned by Rusty Wallace didn't even make the race.
Indy Racing League driver Dario Franchitti and Formula One driver Scott Speed also competed in Saturday's race as a training ground for future NASCAR careers.
There are several NASCAR Sprint Cup organizations fielding development teams in the ARCA series.
"We can't compete with those folks," Bowsher said. "A marketing partner is what we need to make that happen."
Bowsher is still targeting the ARCA's next race at Salem Speedway in Indiana on April 13, but needs sponsorship help.
"We can work with any sponsor of any size," Bowsher said. "There are all kinds of avenues we can take."
