Congratulations Tyler Detrick!

Thank you for helping to spread holiday cheer by voting for your favorite holiday songs and carols — as sung by these brave local residents.

We told readers that we wanted to see, and hear, them decking the halls, jingling bells, ho ho ho-ing and otherwise sharing their best year-end voice with our readers. Families, school, religious and community groups and individuals were invited to enter our Holiday Singing Contest.

You watched and listened to the performers and voted for your favorite. The top vote-getter is Tyler Detrick with 1,842 votes — just over 75 percent of the total 2,434 votes.
