Next year, send your dad a card. It says the things you really meant to say if you find the right one. A one-liner on Facebook doesn’t cut it.

Seems a lot of our young people are dying recently from the use of bath salts. This stuff has nothing to do with a bath. And don’t try to snort those things either. Bath salts are several chemicals mixed together and promising a great “high.” However, the “high” may turn into a low...of about six feet! This stuff is making the bad guy rich and he doesn’t care who dies. Bath salts should be banned, confiscated and made illegal to produce, sale, etc. If anything demanded immediate action by our lawmakers and enforcers, it’s this stuff.

Before you try or buy “bath salts”, ask yourself...am I ready to die at ..., then say your age.

Springfield needs some new judges who aren’t owned by special-interest groups. The judges we have now don’t hand down judgments that fit the crime; they hand down judgments that won’t get them in trouble with special-interest groups.

To the person who complained on about Cox news dropping the ball about the DWI checkpoints: You must have been one of the few that were caught in it.

All of the news on the website June 20 was in yesterday’s paper. Didn’t anything happen over night?
