Why are Springfield police not interested in catching people who steal TVs from people’s homes?

I’d like to know when all the railroad tracks are going to be fixed in Springfield.

I met my husband in a bar 15 years ago, he has tattoos and a good job. Been married 11 years. I work in an office and my own tattoo is tasteful. So you can meet a decent man in a bar, and people with tattoos are just regular people with a little decoration.

There is a free booklet called Digest of Ohio Motor Vehicle Laws at license bureaus. Local police chiefs and sheriffs should make it mandatory reading for officers. Maybe they will learn something and apply the law.

TV advertisers, when your painfully loud commercials come on, we change channels. To reach us and obtain our money, place a large, informative and blissfully quiet ad in the Springfield News-Sun.

Excuse me, but Iraq and Afghanistan raised armies for thousands of years before the discovery of America. They are sovereign nations and do not need our advice. They do like our money. Stop insulting them and let us mind our own business

Congratulations for your vigorous support of breast cancer awareness. The pink News-Sun should be made permanent. It is much easier to read.

Glenn Beck of Fox News is making people afraid to take the H1N1 vaccine. Do not listen to him; ask your doctor.

If they want kids to think outside the box, they should encourage them to have more schooling.

I don’t see the harm in changing the name from Fulton to Davey Moore school.

I’m confused by the complaint of a $30 office visit to a vet. There is no comparison between a cash payment to a vet and your human insurance co-pay. Get pet health insurance with a co-pay. Better yet, talk to your vet and clear up the communication problem. Clear communication is important for you and your pet’s health care.

I just received my H1N1 flu shot at the Clark County Fairgrounds. The staff and volunteers of our health department were wonderful. The process was very efficient.

I am not a lazy parent for not getting my daughter the H1N1 vaccine. I don’t want her to have it. I am not getting it. Keep your nose out of it.

I would like the people who run Catholic Health Partners to offer a forum with the people who do the actual hospital work.

Glenn Beck dedicated a whole show to the H1N1 vaccine. Half dedicated to the pluses, and half to the negatives. He stressed that it was a personal choice and never said if he was getting it or not. Fair and balanced.

With the rate of murder/suicide among married couples...sometimes the police have to make sure a situation is not going to escalate to prevent a tragedy. It's a part of their job and if you were an "advocate" you'd know that it is part of their training as well as everything else they do to serve (which they are unfortunately underpaid, understaffed, and underappreciated for).
