Speak Up provides me with affirmation that others share my opinions. It also provides my mind with subjects and opinions to consider that I haven’t thought about, and it has given me a few good laughs.
The stop-smoking program at the hospital does work. I entered the program six years ago and successfully stopped smoking. It is a wonderful program.
I went through the stop-smoking program. You are only going to quit if you want to quit. This program gave me the tools and information I needed.
How much is it costing us to fly President Obama everywhere to talk about health care?
If President Obama wants a health bill passed, why doesn’t he offer the people the same plan as members of the House and Senate?
I have an answer to the health care plan. Take away lawmakers’ health care and see how fast they come around.
I know of employed Springfielders who died last year, needlessly. Health insurance, doctors and medicine were unaffordable. Write your representatives and ask them to vote for health care reform now.
So Rush Limbaugh threatens to leave the U.S. if the health bill is passed? Great! Let’s all help him pack.
We don’t need a health care bill. We need medical reform.

Am I the only one wondering how much the census office spent on the letter to tell us we are going to get a letter? Just send us the letter.
We just returned from Rain. That was the finest show put on at Kuss! The entire crowd was rockin’.
A prisoner on Death Row overdoses and now the government has to spend $20,000 to nurse him back to health before they kill him.
I didn’t see the UFO over the Collier building, but I did see the little short grayish guys with the huge eyes walking around the building.
Yeah, dude, I saw that UFO over that building last Saturday. Out of sight, man!
