Speak Up for June 30-Why on earth would you put traffic counters on Middle

As the city continues to eat up the surrounding township property, the idea of reducing the number of police and fire personnel becomes less and less of a workable thing. The city is not becoming smaller. It is becoming a donut.

I thought it was the Clark County Fairgrounds and that it was for the whole community. The fireworks should be on July 3, not July 2. A lot of people will have to work on Friday and may not be able to take their children to enjoy them.

Re Villa and Middle Urbana Road: They put stakes out one day to check traffic. There are three retirement homes, two schools and several doctors’ offices on Middle Urbana Road. All on a two-lane road. Talk about greedy people.

Why on earth would you put traffic counters on Middle Urbana road when it’s used as a detour for Derr Road? I bet you will get a real accurate count there.

I see yet again that Tyson Foods has donated to local food banks — 15 tons and that is just part of what is being donated across the county. A nice thank you is in order.

I think a much better form of torture than water boarding would be to make the terrorists and prisoners of Guantanamo Bay listen to the Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity shows.

Anyone who doesn’t think the terrible the economy is George W. Bush’s fault must be living in denial. They are probably also stupid enough to think President Barack Obama should be able to fix it in the short time he has been in office.

The News-Sun is very unfair to the many Browns fans in the area who subscribe to the paper, as it has virtually no coverage of the team.

It is always easier to judge from where we are. All presidents have advisors and as to all problems there are different theories on solutions. The economic crisis is huge and people need to focus energy on solving the problem over bashing who ever is president. What are all of you complainers doing to help the situations affecting our country? What is your contribution to society? No society survives without helping one another. Our system is definately flawed, but so is our society.

Also, do a simple google search for economic graphs and you will see that nearly every indicator spikes downward soon after the Dims took control of the house and senate in '06. I'm not spouting talking points, I'm showing the facts. BOTH parties are a disgrace; it's time for a new "Constitution" party!"

Yes, Bush is partly to blame for the economy. His mistake was he acted too much like a Dimocrat and spent too much. nObama is exasperating it by spending 4 TIMES more than Bush! At least the dictators of the world knew not to mess with us; now they mock us.

Fifty years from now Obama will be known for being one of our worst president for getting our country into the worst shape ever in just four short years, even less. At least Bush stood up for this country and made it safe. Obama is just giving it away along with our personal freedoms. Bush will be a much better president in the history books than Obama will ever be.
