I was 15 when “Thriller” world- premiered on MTV in 1983. We had a big slumber party on East Madison Avenue that night and stayed up all night to watch Michael Jackson’s ground-breaking video. Thank you for the special commemorative section in the newspaper. Awesome illustration and reporting.

What a horrible front page! There is certainly someone better you could have put on the front page. Michael Jackson was a screwball.

I think it is sad what happened to Michael Jackson.

Just saw the cartoon in Sunday paper. Couldn’t even make out who drew it. Just one more pic of Mike Jackson grabbing his crotch. Goodbye, Mike.

Michael Jackson: We all will miss him.

I am saddened by Michael Jackson’s death. His music was wonderful.

The King of Pop, bigger than the Beatles. Only Elvis comes close to what Michael Jackson meant to music and people of the world.

Michael Jackson was talented, rich and famous, but he wasn’t half the man my brain-injured son is.

I liked Michael Jackson’s music, but Farrah Fawcett should have been on the front page. Shows you still don’t have your priorities straight.

Thank you for the half-page tribute to Farrah Fawcett on Friday, June 26. She fought a very public fight with cancer with great dignity and by filming it, she will save lives. She was an icon to many and will be greatly missed.
