To the people who think landlords hate animals: We don’t. I, like most landlords, would be willing to let you have the pet of your choice, if you’re willing to pay a high enough security deposit.

To the person who resents landlords for not wanting their property turned into a kennel. Rent kennel space and move into it with your pet. Problem solved.

Thanks to the lady who helped me get my car started at Speedway. Thanks also for letting me use your cell phone.

Thanks to the family who picked me up and took me to work when my car broke down.

Approval of the Northwestern levy will not increase taxes. However, a majority “no” vote will decrease taxes. Although the education of our children is very important, in times of economic despair I think all programs other than essential education should be suspended.

If the Northeastern school board is interested in the education of the children, why don’t they teach them how to live within their means?

I wonder how many other comments opposing the Northeastern school levy, like mine, you also do not print.

Instead of eliminating teachers’ jobs, tell the voters that the first thing to go will be athletics and all other after-school activities. It might just work.
