Guns are not  the problem

Some are concerned about the new law that allows law-abiding citizens to carry guns in an establishment that serves alcohol. The vast majority of conceal carry license holders are well-trained people who respect the law. They just want to exercise their right to protect themselves.

How many people do you think carry guns in bars now illegally? Are the owners of establishments that prohibit legal conceal carry going to accept responsibility to assure patron’s safety?

The problem is not the conceal carry citizen; it is the individual who has no respect for the law or people. Most people with conceal carry licenses take this responsibility very seriously and they train on a regular basis. ...

Local law enforcement agencies cannot and should not be responsible for each individual’s safety and security. Gun control activists want you to believe that guns are evil.

The truth? Some people are evil and want to do harm to others. If they don’t have a gun, they will use another means to hurt people. ... Guns are not the problem. People who have no regard for others are the problem.
