Although there will be no Dayton boat or outdoor show this year, there will be plenty of shows within a few hours driving distance.

In the following list there are some large shows, such as Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit, Indianapolis and Chicago and some smaller shows throughout Ohio and neighboring states.

The only outdoor-related shows around Dayton this year will be the Cincinnati-Dayton RV Super Show at Airport Expo Center (but that is RVs only) and the White Allen Sportsman’s Show, held this year on March 3.

The Cincinnati Show, Jan. 20-22 and Jan. 25-29 at the Duke Energy Center, is in its 54th year. It features 400 vendors over 250,000 square feet of space.

There will also be no Paddle Palooza this year. Promoter Dan Armitage said he couldn’t secure a date for the April show, so it has been dropped.
