Indian Lake: Wind and cold temperatures have limited fishing. The best action is for catfish, with nightcrawlers and cut shad being the most popular baits. A few saugeyes have been caught on jigs and minnows near the south bank. Spillway fishing for saugeyes should pick up. A few crappies have been caught around docks on minnows and jigs.

C.J. Brown Reservoir: Walleyes have been caught in the spillway in recent days. Try using small spinners, twisters or minnows. A few walleyes have been caught by trolling over the humps with crawler harnesses. Also, the fish attractors on the west side of the lake have been productive. Fish for crappies in the brushpiles with minnows.

Clark Lake: Still good action for stocked rainbow trout. Crappie fishing has been very good.

Grand Lake St. Marys: Plenty of good-sized bluegills are being caught around rocks and docks. Use waxworms and fish about 4 feet deep. Crappies are also deep, hitting mostly jigs. You will catch lots of small crappies before you get a keeper. Catfish are still hitting cut shad and nightcrawlers all over the lake.

Davis Lake: The state is stocking 500 rainbow trout in this small lake near St. Marys today. Use waxworms, small spinners and trout baits. The daily limit is five.

Rocky Fork Lake: Good bass fishing continues. Two 7-pound-plus bass have taken big-bass honors in recent tournaments. Anglers are using spinnerbaits and shad-colored crankbaits around wood and points. Crappies have been biting from Kelly’s Cove to the campground in 5-7 feet of water. Use cut shad or nightcrawlers to catch catfish on the west side of the lake.

Paint Creek Lake: Spillway fishing has been the bright spot. Lake fishing has been difficult due to changing water levels and flooding. Use a chartreuse/red fleck twister to catch saugeyes in the spillway. Crappies in the spillway are going after jigs tipped with minnows. You can even catch white bass in the spillway with in-line spinners.

Lake Loramie: The lake is muddy, but fish are still being caught. Catfish are biting all over the lake on nightcrawlers, cut bait and chicken livers. Saugeyes are biting in the spillway on chartreuse twisters, bass minnows and leeches. For crappies, try fishing in the pads about a foot deep. Pink/white jigs have worked best.

Acton Lake: High water has been reported this week. A few crappies have been hitting black/green jigs and minnows.

Rush Run Lake: Trout fishing is still very good. Use Powerbaits, small spinners or waxworms. Bass have been hitting spinnerbaits. Catfish have been very active, biting on nightcrawlers and bass minnows.

Caesar Creek Lake: White bass have been caught in the creeks on in-line spinners. Crappies are 8-11 feet deep and biting on minnows. A few saugeyes have been caught on the flats by trolling with crawler harnesses.

Lake Erie: Windy, cold weather has limited walleye fishing during the past week. When able to get out, anglers have found productive fishing in Maumee Bay, around the Camp Perry reefs and in other nearshore locations. Use hair jigs tipped with shiners fished near the bottom.

Maumee River: The water level is rising. Fishing pressure has been light with poor weather conditions. Some white bass have been caught. For Maumee River information, visit maumeetackle.net.

Sandusky River: Few anglers have been on the river in recent days. A few limits have been caught. For Sandusky River information, visit wildohio.com.
