Woman OK after semi hits her car on I-70

A woman was OK after a semi struck the vehicle she was driving on Interstate 70 Thursday night.

Ohio Highway Patrol Trooper Morris Johnson responded to the crash, which occurred at approximately 7:25 p.m. on I-70 east near the split with Ohio 4 in Mad River Twp.

Johnson said the semi was traveling behind the Honda Accord going east when the semi clipped the corner of the Honda. The Honda then turned and the semi pushed the vehicle to the right side of the road.

Traffic was moving slowly at the time, otherwise there might have been injuries involved, Johnson said.

Remarkably, the woman told our News Center 7 crew on scene that she was not aware she had been hit by a semi until exiting her vehicle on the side of the road.
