Upright-walking bear strolls around N.J. neighborhood


We don't know if he's smarter than the average bear, but he sure does not walk around like one.

A bipedal bear is causing an internet sensation after being caught on video in a northern New Jersey town.

Several residents saw the bear walking around on two feet through a Jefferson Township neighborhood.

John Leyden, who posted a video on Facebook, said, "It looks like its front right paw is either broken or deformed."

Reports started coming out of New Jersey in mid-July when grainy video was posted to YouTube.

But the recent video clears up any doubts about the validity of the reports.
