President Donald Trump is now pointing the finger at an ultra-conservative Republican faction in the House for the GOP failure to rally a vote on House speaker Paul Ryan’s American Healthcare Act, scuttling the bill on Friday.

But on Friday, it wasn’t the far-right Freedom Caucus, but the Democrats Trump publicly blamed for the measure’s failure, even though it was a lack of Republican support for the legislation that ultimately killed it.

In his favorite mode of communication, the president sent out another tweet Sunday morning about the doomed “repeal and replace” measure.

“Democrats are smiling in D.C. that the Freedom Caucus, with the help of Club For Growth and Heritage, have saved Planned Parenthood & Ocare!”

The president’s tweet on Sunday morning follows one on Friday that seemed to take the bill’s defeat in stride.

“ObamaCare will explode and we will all get together and piece together a great healthcare plan for THE PEOPLE. Do not worry,” the president said.
