Flat tire briefly shuts I-70 ramp to Brandt Pike

A horse trailer with a flat tire forced the closure of the ramp from Interstate 70 east to Brandt Pike on Thursday afternoon.

Police decided to shut down the ramp in order to off-load horses that were in the trailer before changing the flat.

The flat was changed, the horses were reloaded and the ramp was reopened to traffic at 3:45 p.m.
