Ejected driver flown to hospital

A man in his 20s was transported via Careflight to Miami Valley Hospital after crashing his vehicle late Saturday evening.

Around 9:30 p.m., the Ohio State Highway Patrol was sent to the scene of a serious crash on Ohio 56 at Silvers Road in Pleasant Township. Upon arrival, a single vehicle was found off the road. The highway patrol confirmed the driver went off the right side of the road, over corrected and then drove left of center. The vehicle eventually rolled over, according to a release by OSP.

The driver was ejected and was found unconscious by OSP.

Careflight was immediately requested. The male, whose identity has not been made available, was flown to the hospital in critical condition, troopers said.

The crash remains under investigation.
