The Monkees to perform this summer at Rose Music Center

The Rose Music Center in Huber Heights announced today that The Monkees will perform at the venue on Tuesday, June 14.

The iconic band is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a tour and the group’s first new album in 20 years.

The doors open at 6 p.m. and the concert begins at 7 p.m.

Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. Friday at www.Ticketmaster.com, www.RoseMusicCenter.com, the Rose Music Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets or by calling 800-745-3000.

The Rose Music Center box office is open for limited hours during the winter, from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays.

It’s the sixth concert so far that’s been announced for the 2016 season at the Rose.

Last week, it was announced that John Fogerty (May 20), Barenaked Ladies (June 8) and the Tedeschi Trucks Band (July 29) will be performing at the Huber Heights venue.

The season's first two shows were announced last month: Widespread Panic (May 1) and Vince Gill (May 7).
