SPRINGFIELD — Though it may seem like common sense, authorities remind residents that fireworks, even tame ones such as sparklers, pose a serious danger.

HOW will you defend yourself when they come under marshal law with guns and take you and your family by force to a concentration camp where they will implant you all with nanotechnology and a microchip? Satellites will track you and kill when they desire.
This is their ultimate goal, because they are few and we are many to control.

So Now for several decades, those really controlling our Media and Governments continually work on our opinions-manipulating our very minds by exaggerating the hype of fireworks dangers and injuries. They are trying to convince us all that this world can be made completely safe and injury free. They want fireworks illegal for the common citizen, everywhere. Because it's just another step towards making guns illegal for the common "citizen" but not for them

BEFORE IT HAPPENS Many decades now, there are already reasonable-logical regulations that dictate firework design, and power to increase their safety and reduce their potential for injury.

Well guess what... Shane Cartmill came and took our public fireworks (greenville). So what r we supposed to do?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

If fireworks were completely banned, people would then begin making homemade fireworks. I agree with Michelle, people should be educated on these instead of said not to use them at all. And just to inform someone else, not just rednecks get drunk and light them off. You have people with class doing the same thing, they just are not where you are (being that you are targeting the rednecks tells me you are one and you know who I am talking about in this comment page).

The problem lies not so much with the fireworks, but with the multitudes of rednecks that get drunk and then think it's fun to set them off. Every year, we go to the city fireworks and every year there are at least 2-3 truckloads of morons setting off bottle rockets and fireworks in a park full of people. Problem is, the fireworks go AWAY from them and toward other people.

Get used to it, common....Ohio is currently considering making owning AND using fireworks legal, just like all our surrounding states. The tax brought in by this would really benefit Ohio.

The fault, Dear Brutus, lies with our cowardly Legislators. They could--and should--ban fireworks completely, but that would mean
losing some sales tax revenue.

So, they try to have it both ways, resulting in
injuries, headaches for local law enforcement and the nuisance intelligent people must tolerate.

I bought mine in Indiana - didn't have to sign anything.

Barb, fireworks that EXPLODE are illegal to use in Ohio. Those that simply emit smoke or small showers of sparks----as the ones in the stores you mentioned do----are completely legal to own and use. To get the ones that explode, you have to go to one of the numerous fireworks stores . You can buy as much as you like, then you sign a form stating that you are taking them out of state. The store has your signature, so they're off the hook if you burn a house down or blow a finger off.

I guess I'm confused. If fireworks are illegal then why can you walk into Krogers, Walmart, KMart and purchase them? Illegal to use but not to sell? Do they think people are buying them just to have and not use? We've been bothered by uncaring neighbors that give no thought about their fun annoying others. Not to mention cleaning up THEIR fun the next day out of your yard, and yes we've had to put out fires where their illegal fireworks landed in our mulch.

yes fireworks are very dangerous, an illegal but kids still get there hands on them i think that kids should be educated about fireworks instead of telling them not to use them.
