University employee receives library award

An Urbana University employee recently received an award for her efforts to organize the Ohio Private Academic Library Conference.
Jamie Lattimer, coordinator of cataloging services for Urbana University, received the 2010 OPAL Service Award for her efforts in putting together the conference.
Lattimer spent eight months preparing for the event, while continuing to fulfill her duties for Urbana University.
The OPAL Service Award is given annually to an employee of an OPAL library who has contributed significantly to the organization.
