Shawnee board to get help in search for next superintendent

Clark-Shawnee Local Schools will utilize the county education services center for its upcoming superintendent search.

The ESC is being asked to advertise the opening and will perform the initial screening of candidates.

The board hopes to hire someone in May to allow time to transition, said retiring Superintendent Debbie Finkes.

The search will be limited to Ohio and will cost about $1,000, she said.
