WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — The National Park Service said its visitor center at Huffman Prairie, the site where Wilbur and Orville Wright perfected operational control of their pioneering airplane, will be closed on Saturday, Feb. 13, because of power line upgrades and a shutdown of electric power that day.

The center will reopen for business at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 14.

The interpretive center is located on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and is part of the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park, administered by the Park Service.

For more information, contact the Park Service at (937) 225-7705.
