Northeastern student resting at home after crash Tuesday

SPRINGFIELD — A Northeastern High School student who was flown by medical helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital after a car crash on his way to school Tuesday, Nov. 17, is resting at home, Northeastern Local Schools Superintendent Rick Broderick said Wednesday.

Brandon Krugh, 16, was taken by Careflight because he was unconscious following the crash on Old Columbus Road, but was released Tuesday afternoon, said Broderick.

Krugh, a football player and wrestler for the Jets, is resting at home and expected to return to school Monday.
