Man reports armed robbery

SPRINGFIELD -- A 19-year-old man told Springfield police two men with handguns robbed him near Oak Street and Selma Road just before 1 p.m. Friday, and took $50 and a cellphone valued at $50.

He said he was walking with a friend down the street when he was jumped by the suspects.

The man had several lacerations, redness and swelling on his face and was transported to Springfield Regional Medical Center, according to the police.

ARREST

Angela M. Gregory, 46, of 114 W. Auburn Ave., was arrested and charged with domestic violence and assault after police said she assaulted a man she knows at her address about 3 a.m. Saturday.

THEFTS

• A digital camera and a GPS unit, valued at $600, were taken from a home in the 700 block of Kenton Street between noon Wednesday and 8 a.m. Friday.

• A laptop valued at $600 was taken from a home in the 500 block of Damascus Avenue on Jan. 10.

• A laptop valued at more than $800 was taken from a home in the 1200 block of Innisfallen Avenue between 12:15 and 1:45 p.m. Friday.

• Two televisions valued at $900 were taken from a home in the 100 block of North Jackson Street between 5 p.m. Thursday and 10:45 a.m. Friday.

• A mower, a string trimmer and hand tools, valued at $860, were taken from a detached garage in the 1400 block of Barclay Street between 10 p.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday.
