Local woman wins $50,000 in lottery

NEW CARLISLE — A New Carlisle woman won $50,000 in the Rolling Cash 5 lottery game.

Faye Elam won with a ticket for the Tuesday, Nov. 17, drawing. She matched all five numbers, as did another ticket holder.

After taxes, Elam will receive a check for $34,500.

She purchased the winning ticket from Quality Food Mart, 127 Weiland St. in New Carlisle. The store will receive a $500 bonus.
