Downtown Sounds begins today

SPRINGFIELD — The Downtown Sounds music series begins today, July 1.

The series will feature musical performers every Wednesday on the City Hall Plaza for the next eight weeks, according to a news release.

Today’s performer is Rick L. James. The performance is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to the release.

The series is sponsored by the Center City Association.
