Chamber announces new staff members

The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce has added two staffers to its marketing department.

Nicole Wroten will serve as marketing and communications specialist. Wroten brings social media and Web experience which will be utilized to help the chamber improve its social media strategy. She will also help the chamber build a new Web site.

Amanda Horine joins the chamber as marketing and information systems specialist. She is a graduate of the School of Advertising Art and a bronze ADDY award winner.

Arts Council to hold fundraising auction

The Springfield Arts Council will host Salute to the Arts, its annual fundraising auction, Saturday, March 20, at the Champions Center. Attendees will enjoy a seated dinner by Carmae Catering.

Tickets are $85 per person. Reservations for the event can be made by calling the Arts Council at (937) 324-2712 or visiting springfieldarts
council.org.

Raffle tickets for a cash drawing are $10 each or three for $20 and can be purchased at the event or in advance.

Businesses can reserve tables at $600 each; cash donations can be made online for those unable to attend.

Group to honor graduates, leaders

Leadership Clark County will hold its 30th annual Community Leadership Academy Graduation Dinner and Awards Ceremony on April 14 at the Courtyard by Marriott.

The event will honor graduates from the 2010 leadership academy class. Community leaders recognized this year are James Sheehan, distinguished community leader; Mike McDorman, leader of the year, and Mark Stephenson, alumnus of the year.

The reception begins at 
6 p.m. with dinner following. Tickets are $50 per person.

Bank announces quarterly dividend

Perpetual Federal Savings Bank announced a dividend for the quarter ending March 31. The regular cash dividend of 15 cents will be payable March 29 to shareholders of record as of March 15.
