Brick laying not open to public

Today’s bricklaying ceremony at the new Springfield Regional Medical Center is not open to the public.
Because the ceremony is being held in a hard-hat area of an active construction site, Danis Building Co. officials said the company could not, for safety reasons, accommodate the public.
The News-Sun, in error, stated the public was invited to the event.
