SIDNEY — A Sidney man won a $1 million prize after scratching a game card in the Ohio Lottery’s Big Money instant game.

John H. McCutchins won $50,000 a year for the next 20 years, the Ohio Lottery announced Tuesday, March 16. He chose to receive his cash in a lump sum, so his total after taxes is $345,000.

McCutchins bought his winning ticket at Riverside Carryout & Cones, 1015 Riverside Dr., Sidney. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
