WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — Air Force military and civilian personnel are invited to participate in the annual Commander’s Challenge event to devise solutions that can address pressing needs for American warfighters.
To sign up for this year’s competition, candidates are asked to send an email or short resume to signmeup@kirtland.af.mil. Those selected are to be notified by early March, the Air Force said.
The Air Force Research Laboratory hosts the challenge, which gives the two teams of six to eight members each a total of six months and a $75,000 budget to devise a solution for a designated need of U.S. battlefield forces. The event concludes with a demonstration of each team’s solution, after which the winning team is chosen.
