D.R. Horton Inc., down $1.88 at $10.37
The homebuilder's wider-than-anticipated quarterly loss fueled by write-downs offset news that its new home orders spike 26 percent from a year ago.
J.M. Smucker Co., up $2.87 at $56.35
The company nearly tripled its profit on the addition of Folgers coffee and lower commodity prices that fattened its profit margins.
Griffon Corp., up $1.15 at $10.20
The communications and electronic information, building products and specialty plastics business posted a fiscal fourth-quarter profit.
NASDAQ:
ADC Telecommunications Inc., down 73 cents at $5.91
The company posted a net loss in the fourth quarter and warned that first-quarter earnings will come in lower than expected.
Bon-Ton Stores Inc., up 41 cents at $13.07
Fitch Ratings raised its outlook for the department store operator from "negative" to "stable," citing its reworked credit agreement.
Dell Inc., down $1.58 at $14.29
The computer company reported a 54 percent drop in net income and a 15 percent decline in revenue, both steeper than analysts expected.
Aruba Networks Inc., down 64 cents at $8.94
The company reported fiscal first-quarter results above expectations, but it may not have been as much of a beat as Wall Street hoped.
