Handyman Ace Hardware has opened a new location at 3300 S. Dayton-Lakeview Rd., the former Ballweg Hardware store. Ace Hardware is keeping the former Ballweg employees as well as hiring additional staff, said Diana Ellison, advertising director for Ace Hardware.

The store is currently operating while under renovation, and over time will convert to Ace Hardware’s typical merchandise and set up.
