Ryan Minney scored 19 points to lead Springfield High School to a 67-53 win over Lebanon in boys basketball on Friday.
Springfield broke the game open in the second half, thanks to defensive pressure and turnovers.
Sean Burrows scored eight points and added 14 rebounds and eight blocked shots for Springfield. Daeshawn Jackson scored 15 while Kamarta Curry scored 11. The Wildcats led by 15 at the end of the third quarter.
Ben Esposito led Lebanon with 24 points. Bradd Ellis scored 10.
Emmanuel Christian 41, Cedarville 40: Cedarville led by two with nine seconds left. Emmanuel Christian senior Ryan Mahoney hit a 3-pointer from the corner with two seconds left for the win.
Kenton Ridge 62, Spg. Catholic Central 51: Jordan Goodfellow led Kenton Ridge with 21. He made five 3-pointers. Jaeden Bailey scored 12 and was 8-of-10 from the free throw line.
Will Johnson led Central Catholic with 18.
Miami East 64, Northwestern 44: Miami East rolled in the second quarter, outscoring Northwestern 22-4.
Justin Phlipot led Northwestern with 15. Cody Lough scored 12.
Garrett Mitchell scored 19 for Miami East. Nick Beard scored 18 and had three 3-pointers. A.J. Hickman scored 12.
Mechanicsburg 66, Ben Logan 54: Mechanicsburg put the game away with a 23-9 run in the second quarter.
Brandon Purk led Mechanicsburg with 20. Brandon Welch scored 15 while Matt Bogan scored 12. Morgan Eades had 11.
Blaine Ricketts led Ben Lognan with 14. He shot 6-of-9 from the floor. Dalton Greene scored 13 while Jordan Sosby had 12.
Urbana 58, Northeastern 43: Tristan Singer led Urbana with 19. Alex Niswonger scored 14.
Daniel Link led Northeastern with 13.
West Jefferson 69, Southeastern 53: Duncan Mercer scored 21 to lead Southeastern. Jake Bertemes scored 11 and hit three 3-pointers.
