Wright State University senior Cassandra Lloyd (Springfield South High grad) finished third in the 100 hurdles at the NCAA East preliminaries Saturday in Jacksonville, Fla., in a school-record time of 13.17 seconds. She will race in the NCAA semifinals on June 7 in Des Moines.
• Wittenberg sophomore sprinter Victor Banjo finished seventh in the 100-meter dash at the NCAA Division III track and field championships at Claremont, Calif. Banjo, who won his preliminary heat on Friday, finished in 10.6 seconds.
