Wright State senior Cassandra Lloyd placed second in her preliminary race of the 100-meter hurdles Friday to advance at the NCAA East Regional Meet in Jacksonville, Fla.
Lloyd, a Springfield South graduate, clocked a time of 13.22 seconds to advance to the quarterfinals at 7:20 p.m. today.
The NCAA Championships are set for June 6-9 in Des Moines, Iowa.
